St. Johann Church in Taufers im Münstertal

The Church of St Johann in Taufers was built around 1220. The Romanesque church building has the shape of a Greek cross. The fully painted groined vault shows Byzantine influences, and the frescoes from the late Romanesque period are also worth seeing.
Opening hours: daily from 9:30 - 17:00
Exhibition with guided tour, every Wednesday at 4.00 pm: Life on the road (in German language)
Archaeological finds from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages from Taufers, Puntweil and Rotund are on display.
Guided tour price: € 5.00 per person
