Guided nature walk for nature enthusiasts in the Schludernser nature reserve
Hikes/trips , Guided tours/unguided tours , Family ,
A giant bird’s nest beckons, as do a flood simulation model and other highlights.
At 19 stations covering various nature-related topics, visitors can carry out experiments on the spot and explore research questions.
The Nature Discovery Trail is ideal for families as well as school groups, other groups and visitors.
From “How old was this tree?” to “Which local materials can you spot here at this station?”, there’s something for researchers of all ages. And the answer “I don’t know yet” is perfectly fine! After all, what researcher knows everything straight away? Perhaps the next visit – or the one after that – to the floodplain forest will shed some light on things…
A lovingly designed research notebook is provided for jotting down findings and continuing the investigation next time.
There is also a RESEARCH BACKPACK available for the Nature Discovery Trail in the Schluderns floodplains. With the 12 aids and tools in the backpack, the tasks are even easier to complete. With a stethoscope, folding rule and magnifying glass, etc., teamwork makes the research twice as much fun.
