The church of San Giovanni a Tubre was built around 1220. The Romanesque building has the shape of a Greek cross. The cross vault, completely painted, shows Byzantine influences, while the late Romanesque frescoes are worth seeing.


Opening hours: every day from 9.30 am to 6 pm.


Guided tour every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.: Living along the road

Archaeological finds from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages from Tubre, Puntweil and Rotund are on display.


Price of the guided tour: €5.00 per person.

Holders of the Lago di Resia Guest Pass have free admission to the exhibition every Wednesday. To take advantage of this service, you must show your valid Lago di Resia Guest Pass.
